Palm Sunday

Peace to you,

This Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday. A time of palm waving, familiar songs, and the rhythm of a story that has marked our lives for years.

As we step into Matthew’s curious account of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, (Matthew 21:1-11), we will wonder: What good news does this story bring for us today, especially when so much of our world feels stirred to its depths?

Drawing on the wisdom of Henri Nouwen and the call to a "new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17-18), we will seek the courage to dismiss the lies we tell ourselves that hold us back. This year, we enter Holy Week not as a stage set, performance, or museum piece, but as an ever unfolding seismic movement – a journey of healing and forgiveness alive in us today.

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey: Come. Celebrate. Find strength for today and hope in Tomorrow.

In Christ, Rev Kev
