There Our Hearts Will Be: Story Telling Sunday
At the heart of deep community, says author Paul Born, is love made real through presence, attention, and shared life. And I believe that that is what our congregation continues to seek to be, the visible sign of God’s all-inclusive love making space to heal and hope amid the chaos, uncertainties, conflicts, and challenges of modern life,” This Sunday we are blessed that a member of our community will be visiting us and sharing our morning message, “The Heart of Community.” For those who do not know Noah, he has been a member of First Congregational Church of Woodstock since 2017 and a Member in Discernment (MID) with the SNEUCC Windham Association for the last two years. He is exploring roles in ministry and will begin an internship in Dayton, WA in November. His message is based on John 13:34-35 and Romans 16:1-8.
