Advent Week 1: What Child is This?

This Sunday, we begin our Advent series, "What Child IS This? Beyond the Lullaby," by exploring The Revolution of Hope. For many of us, this time of year comes mixed with genuine joy, but also with complexity, challenge, or loss. It can be difficult to reconcile the simple "lullaby" of the Christmas story with the messy realities of our own lives and a world that often feels short on light. We invite you to come and wonder with us as we look hopefully at the beginnings of the Christmas story; a story of struggle, chaos, uncertainty, and hope. Afterall, the Christmas Story, Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem, the magi, and the manger and so on remind us that God chooses to enter our story right where we are on our journey. Whether you are carrying a burden this season, feel the world is too dark, or simply crave a deeper connection to the Christmas story; come, rest in the beauty of the promise, and reclaim the Revolution of Hope.
