Resurrection Stories

Have you ever felt like you were standing at the edge of a river in the middle of the night, caught between a past you can’t change and a future you’re not quite ready to face?

This Sunday, we continue our journey through Resurrection Stories by listening to two people who found themselves in that very place:

1) Jacob, wrestling in the dark on a riverbank (Genesis 32:24–32), and
2) Peter, staring into empty nets after a long, fruitless night (John 21:1–8).

We often imagine resurrection as a reset button, a way to erase the hard parts of our stories. But as Rowan Williams reminds us, the Good News is far more hopeful than that. Resurrection doesn’t erase our history; it transforms it. It meets us in the struggle, in the shame, in the exhaustion, and begins its work right there.

Come and discover how God meets us in the night and leads us toward a dawn we didn’t expect. Whether you are seeking personal peace, wondering how we begin to heal a hurting world, or simply longing for a place to stop running and start breathing, we invite you to join us.

Wherever you find yourself on this journey, come as you are and bring your whole self: your history, your questions, and your hopes.

In Christ, Rev Kev
